How are you going the distance?
When mobility is the mission, your feet can't fail. We designed a pocketable kit built for ultramarathoners, ruckers, runners, or anyone who may have to travel unplanned extended distances by foot.

Built for distance under duress
- Get-home/bug-out ready: engineered for 20+ miles of hard movement when your feet aren’t prepped
- Two-surface strategy: protect the foot and reduce shear inside the shoe with PTFE glide zones
- Ruck-tested hold: high-adhesion tapes and fabric bandages that stay put under weight and heat
- Clear, step-by-step Treatment Pamphlet and materials for multiple blisters
Why it’s different
- Purpose-built for long, loaded movement, not just day hikes.
- Foot-side protection plus shoe-side glide reduces shear from both directions.
- Compact module drops into a go-bag, admin pouch, glove box, ruck, or first aid kit.
Field workflow (quick)
- Step 1: Catch hotspots early. Clean with BZK or alcohol; dry thoroughly. Apply skin barrier.
- Step 2: Build the dressing. Cushion with gauze or a fabric bandage; secure with tape or SUPER Duct Tape.
- Step 3: Blisters: Follow the pamphlet for assessment. Use lancet/needle/blade only if trained, then dress and seal.
- Step 4: Shoe-side fix with PTFE: Degrease the inside shoe surface, dry, then apply PTFE tape to heel cup, collar, tongue, toe box, or insole where friction occurs. Not for skin.
- Step 5: Control moisture with foot powder during breaks. At day’s end, remove with adhesive solvent and reassess.
Common Questions
Does the kit have an expiration date?
While the bandages and tapes have a very long shelf life, the antiseptic wipes and skin barrier preps may eventually dry out over several years. We recommend inspecting your kit once a year and replacing any individual liquid-based components as needed.
What is PTFE tape and how do I use it?
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is the generic name for Teflon, an ultra-low friction material. Apply it to the high-friction "hotspots" inside your shoe or boot (like the heel or side walls). This creates a slick surface that allows your sock to glide rather than rub against the shoe.
Can I use the PTFE tape on my socks?
We recommend applying it to the inside of the shoe for the best results. Applying it to socks may result in the tape peeling off due to the flexibility of the fabric.
How large is the kit? Will it fit in my pocket?
The kit is designed as a compact module. It fits easily into a standard cargo pocket, an admin pouch on a plate carrier, or a small corner of a go-bag. (Approximate dimensions: 4in x 6in x 1/2in).
Why is there Duct Tape in a foot kit?
In high-stress movement, standard medical tape often fails. We found the best version of duct tape for use as an "anchor" layer over dressings. The goal is to ensure they don't migrate or bunch up inside your boot or running shoe during long-distance travel. The goal is to keep you going further for longer.
What is the "Adhesive Helper" for?
The adhesive helper wipe creates a thin film and gives your skin the tackiness of painters/masking tape. This protects the skin from aggressive adhesives and helps the bandages stick significantly better in sweaty, wet, or dirty conditions. Water does NOT stop the tack, you will need the adhesive remover wipe or plenty of dish soap to clean your skin after application.
What It Does
- Prevent: Foot powder and skin barrier wipes reduce moisture and friction.
- Treat: Clean, lance, and dress blisters to get you moving again.
- Lock down: Cushion with hydrogel, gauze, and fabric bandages; secure with tape and skin adhesive.
- Reduce shear at the source: Apply PTFE tape inside the shoe to create a slick “glide path” at hotspots.
- Reset: Adhesive solvent wipes make end-of-day removal easier on skin.
